Binance Charity appoints Axel Tagliavini to head up Binance Charity as it ramps up its education outreach.
We are excited to welcome Axel as Executive Director at such a pivotal point for Binance Charity as well as the industry. Axel will lead and manage the philanthropic arm of Binance, with a core focus of advancing accessibility to Web3 education worldwide for the underrepresented and underprivileged.

With the mandate to grow Binance Charity’s impact globally in delivering Web3 solutions to support humanitarian and educational projects, Axel will oversee every aspect of Binance Charity from strategy and project delivery to communications. Axel has been brought onboard to refresh and refocus Binance Charity’s mission to ensure it aligns with Binance’s core values and objectives as well as leading a team to deliver higher impact projects.
He continues: “We want to increase accessibility and remove financial barriers to Web3 education and training. This has the potential to not only change the lives of individuals but redefine the economies of whole communities, countries and regions.”

Before joining Binance Charity, Axel was Global Chief Communications Officer for INSEAD, the world renowned Higher Education institution, heading up Brand & Identity, External & Internal Communications, Media Relations & PR, Digital & Data. Axel led the global communications and strategy teams in crisis communications and partnerships focusing on advancing the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals and CSR efforts. He brings over 20 years of experience in business, marketing and journalism.
