The workers of Glover have begun on Friday the strike in supermarkets to demand improved working conditions after mediation held Wednesday at the Department of Employment of the Generalitat ended without agreement.
The main claim is direct hiring by the company, since currently employees are hired through temporary work agencies .

The strike started this Friday and will affect the five centers that the company has in Barcelona, located on Calle Marina, Girona, Francesc Carbonell, Consell de Cent and Travessera de Dalt. According to CCOO, the protest has a 100% following and the 300 supermarket workers are on strike.

Beyond direct hiring by the company, employees demand an increase in the value of the hour worked by 75% on holidays and Sundays, salary supplements for rainy days and night work equivalent to 25% of the price of the ordinary time and the collection of a transportation bonus to compensate the daily expenses of the workers to go to and from the home in the workplace.
