Fleet operators running supported Hyundai models can now access vehicle data on MyGeotab through the cloud, with no need to retrofit hardware to their vehicles
Geotab has announced the launch of a native telematics integration for supported Hyundai vehicles across Europe. The solution draws on OEM-embedded telematics installed in those vehicles during manufacture, sending data through the cloud to the MyGeotab platform. Because the connectivity is already built into the vehicle, fleet operators have no aftermarket hardware to purchase or install, reducing both upfront costs and the time needed to get vehicles on to the platform.
Fleet managers can use the integration to bring both internal combustion engine (ICE) and electric vehicles (EV) into a single operating environment. Combining native Hyundai vehicle data with Geotab’s analytics tools gives operators of mixed fleets a unified view of their portfolio, along with the information they need to manage performance, maintenance, and energy use across their entire operation.

- Proactive Maintenance & Uptime: Monitoring of engine health, including oil pressure, coolant temperatures, and specific DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter) status, prevents costly breakdowns.
- Near Real Time GPS: Newer Hyundai vehicles will be able to transmit GPS every 10 seconds (older vehicles will send data at ignition on/off)
