This Is How Best Buy’s Competition Reacted To Departure News

Best Buy announced its departure from Mexico and companies competing for the technology market in the country reacted in different ways.

Grupo Salinas, owned by Salinas Pliego, issued a message on social networks in which he fired his opponent and indicated that he would appropriate the consumers he left with his departure.

The businessman himself spread the company’s tweet, stating that his corporation does not retire to keep jobs and services.

In contrast, the group reatil of technology Doto.com.mx lamented the departure of Best Buy and offered support for those who lose their jobs by the closure of shops in the country.

In addition to wishing for the best, Doto will be receiving resumes from people interested in working with them.

Salinas Pliego has become increasingly contentious on Twitter since the pandemic has hit retailers across Mexico .

He rejected the closure of stores, pointed out that everyone should be infected with covid -when he tested positive for the disease- , attacked labor benefits such as contributions to the retirement of his workers and adds this new tweet to his list of controversial messages.
