JD Property operates a logistics distribution center in Milton Keynes.  JD Property has acquired a further  11 warehouses across the UK and Europe.  JD.com manages around 90 bonded, international, and direct mail warehouses worldwide. The company has also established sea, air, and land transport solutions.

Expanding the warehouse network to cover most of Europe, JD Logistics (JD.com’s logistics division) is building more warehouses in:

  • France
  • Germany
  • Spain
  • Poland
  • The Netherlands.

2. Empowering Brands With Automated Warehouse Solutions

JD Logistics supports European retailers by providing them with next-generation logistics technology.  In JD.com’s Venlo distribution Center in the Netherlands, the company uses state-of-the-art automation technologies including:

  • Robotic arms.
  • Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVs).
  • Sophisticated logistics management systems.

JD.com’s advanced logistics solutions have allowed many European brands to improve their operational efficiency and importantly reduce operational costs.

3. Improving Delivery Services Through Strategic Partnerships

JD Logistics recently announced a new partnership with Geopost. Based in France, Geopost is the largest international parcel delivery network in Europe.

The Geopost partnership has enabled JD.com to carry out efficient  local deliveries from its international warehouses. One-day delivery is now possible in European countries including  France, Germany, the UK, the Netherlands, Spain, and Poland.

These services minimize operational costs for European businesses and improve average delivery speed to one to two days.

4. Access to the Chinese Market

JD.com launched its “National Pavilion” initiative in 2014 and it is an excellent mechanism for introducing international products and cultural to Chinese consumers.
