Pledger social impact App launches in Shopify, enabling 1000s of UK retailers to boost their impact.
It is not surprising that Gen Z and Millennial consumers deeply care about the values and impact of the brands that they shop with. The state of our Planet and increasing needs in marginalised communities speak volumes. Retail giants like Amazon and eBay along with many other prominent companies have already introduced giving back into their shopping journeys. And now a new social impact platform – Pledger – emerges to enable retailers in the UK to make a meaningful difference by aligning with impact organisations via a simple Shopify App.
With Pledger retailers can partner with some of the UK’s most loved causes, including Crisis, Action Mental Health, The Black Curriculum, Just One Tree and many others. The team is there to support partners every step of the way and to ensure that the collaborations are a great authentic match.
Pledger went live in the quiet hecticness of London lockdown. The Founding team, Liam Houlahan and Mariya Kupriyenko are both digital creators and product makers who have worked together on a number of other startups before creating Pledger.
