Valour has introduced the first exchange-traded product (ETP) linked to the Floki token, marking the cryptocurrency’s debut on a regulated European exchange.
The new product, Valour Floki SEK, is listed on the Spotlight Stock Market and offers institutional and retail investors a secure and regulated gateway to FLOKI, the native token of the Floki ecosystem. It is the first ETP connected to a project on the BNB Chain that is not associated with Binance’s own token.
Valour Floki SEK mirrors the performance of FLOKI, which serves as a utility token within the Floki ecosystem, supporting payments, governance, staking and access to services such as decentralised finance platforms, an NFT-based gaming metaverse known as Valhalla, and educational resources through the University of Floki. Backed by a global community, FLOKI is already listed on major exchanges including Binance, Coinbase, Kraken and Bitstamp.
Issued by Valour Inc, the certificate carries no expiry date and has a management fee of 1.9 per cent. It is traded in Swedish kronor, currently priced at 19.34 SEK, and is accessible on core brokerage platforms including Avanza, Nordnet and others. Assets under management stand at 100,000 SEK.
Valour has stated that its certificate product line is fully hedged by the underlying digital assets, with custody services provided by licensed institutions such as Copper. The company’s base prospectuses are approved by the Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority, ensuring they meet EU regulations for transparency and investor protection.
The launch aligns with Floki’s developers’ ambition to drive mainstream adoption. They anticipate that regulated products such as the Valour Floki SEK will expand the token’s reach among both institutional and retail investors.
The product is available on brokerage platforms including Avanza, Nordnet, comdirect, ING, Scalable Capital, Degiro and justTRADE.
