Xalts Partners with Tezos to Accelerate Real-World Asset Tokenization

Xalts Xalts

Xalts will provide a comprehensive, plug-and-play solution for enterprise developers seeking to tokenize real-world assets (RWAs) and create blockchain applications on the Tezos blockchain. The newest addition to Xalts’ enterprise application development and management platform, RWA Cloud, is Etherlink—a non-custodial EVM Layer 2 solution powered by Tezos.

Xalts and the Tezos Foundation have announced a collaboration aimed at advancing the adoption of real-world asset (RWA) tokenization by institutions. This partnership will deliver out-of-the-box solutions to help financial services, governments, and other enterprise developers build digital asset platforms that incorporate blockchain, tokenization, and smart contract technologies for various applications.

Xalts specializes in providing connectivity solutions for financial services and businesses through a modern technology stack that includes APIs, blockchains, and orchestration layers. Their product suite features the RWA Cloud platform, designed to help large institutions such as financial services and government bodies swiftly develop complex blockchain solutions.

With this collaboration, enterprise developers will have the option to build on the Tezos blockchain, enhancing the adoption of financial services use cases like tokenizing funds, securities, commodities, trade finance assets, digital currencies, and central bank digital currencies (CBDCs). The partnership also aims to offer solutions for regulators and governments interested in integrating blockchain technology for diverse applications. Xalts’ RWA Cloud, built on Etherlink, enables enterprises to rapidly and cost-effectively develop blockchain applications.

Etherlink is a Layer 2 blockchain solution powered by Tezos’s smart roll-up technology, distinguished as the only non-custodial L2 in the industry. It provides high-speed execution and low transaction costs compared to other blockchain solutions.

RWA Cloud addresses the complexities enterprises and regulators face with blockchain implementation, such as managing intricate rules, workflows, processes, and compliance requirements. It includes Smart Workflow Core, an orchestration layer that interfaces with smart contract libraries and various off-chain systems to manage complexities related to issuance, servicing, and transfers.

Additionally, Xalts and Tezos will collaborate on onboarding organizations using RWA Cloud’s Smart Org Manager on Etherlink. This tool helps organizations manage blockchain onboarding by establishing hierarchical structures and user wallet access rights for both on-chain and off-chain permissions, akin to traditional user management setups.

Ashutosh Goel, CEO of Xalts, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership, noting that it will enhance the accessibility and acceleration of blockchain and smart contract solutions for enterprises. Siddharth Singhal, Head of Business Development at Trilitech (Tezos R&D Hub), highlighted that the collaboration will drive faster blockchain and tokenization adoption by reducing development and deployment costs and time for developers, including large institutions like governments, banks, and asset managers.

The timing of this partnership coincides with global regulatory advancements in tokenization, such as Hong Kong Monetary Authority’s Project Ensemble, the Monetary Authority of Singapore’s Project Guardian, and Qatar Financial Centre’s Digital Assets Lab.
