Hexadrone SAS has reached a significant compliance milestone after securing CE marking and C5/C6 class certification for its TUNDRA 2.1 drone. The assessment was carried out by Applus+ Laboratories, acting as an accredited European notified body.
The certification confirms conformity with EU Regulation 2019/945 and strengthens the platform’s suitability for regulated and mission-critical operations. With the full implementation of the regulation scheduled for 1 January 2026, the approval provides reassurance to operators planning long-term deployments.

The certification delivered by Applus+ Laboratories confirms that the TUNDRA 2.1complies with the most stringent requirements of EU Regulation 2019/945. The involvement of an independent notified body ensures an objective and rigorous assessment process, reinforcing the platform’s credibility, transparency, and regulatory recognition with authorities and users. It provides optimal legal and technical security for critical operations, while strengthening trust in the platform’s long-term compliance.

Achieving CE marking and C5/C6 certification for the TUNDRA 2.1, which is one of the few platforms on the market to hold these certifications, follows 24 months of development and an investment of nearly €500,000.
